TL;DR
Go to this store. Talk to the people. Learn about the selection. This store and stores like it are WHY you shop small businesses in your community. Fantastic experience and will be back.
Had an incident where a certain hairy "someone" (my dog Rufus) decided to eat a lot of raisins....so now he's eating special prescription food. And mostly hating it.
I was in the area and stopped by, not really sure what to expect but not wanting to watch my boy barely eat for another day.
Before I knew it, my tale was being told to three (!) employees who could not wait to help. I'd done a ton of internet reading, and in under 10 minutes I learned 100x what I'd previously gotten from Google and ChatGPT.
These people know dogs, they know their product, and they care. Quite the opposite experience that you get at PetSmart, yes? That's what I'm used to - "Oh, look in aisle 7".
After spending time educating me, they were even so kind as to give me some samples of low phosphorous dog food topper to see if my boy liked it! Turns out, about two weeks worth...I offered to pay and they would not accept anything in return.
My boy is now eating, and I've now ordered a proper box of special food, and they've now got a customer for life.
If you want to wander around a massive warehouse looking at aisles of food, this ain't your spot. If you want to deal with people who care about you, your dog, and your situation - come in. You won't be sorry.
